Buzz Creators, Inc. a Westchester, NY-based consulting firm that specializes in public relations, marketing and brand building, is now offering graphic design internships for the fall 2014 semester. Buzz Creators is offering internships to undergraduate and graduate students. This program is designed to provide students with exposure to the PR and Marketing industry through a diversified selection of assignments. If you are a self-motivated individual who’s interested in learning more about PR and Marketing, then we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Buzz Creators is based at 7-11 Legion Drive, Suite #102 in Valhalla, NY. This position can also be a part “virtual” role and therefore it is fairly flexible with regards to location.

Job Description: This is a terrific opportunity for an organized, creative, self-motivated individual to learn more about the graphic design side of the marketing and communications industry and to gain excellent, hands-on experience. This job also offers flexibility and fun!

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop promotional materials such as brochures, infographics, PowerPoint templates and logos
  • Participate in designing internal campaigns for clients
  • Provide Buzz Creators team with organizational and administrative support, including developing new business plans and presentations, marketing materials and other administrative activities
  • Assist with creating social media pages/posts
  • Assist with client-related research

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must…

  • Be a college student currently studying Graphic Design or a related field
  • Have an interest and/or experience in public relations, marketing or advertising (viewed as a big plus)
  • Pay attention to detail and be dedicated to producing quality work
  • Possess strong writing/proofreading skills
  • Have knowledge of Adobe CS Design Suite/Photoshop, Power Point, MS Word, Excel and WordPress
  • Be very savvy with the Internet and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Be self-motivated and be able to work well under minimal-supervision

Timing/Hours: This internship will be approximately 15 weeks in duration and the hours for this position are approximately 16-24 hours per week (2-3 days) – and there is some flexibility with regards to timing.

Salary/Credit: The graphic design internship is for students who are able to receive course credit as determined by their university/college. A stipend may also be available for the right candidate.
