The Westchester Community Foundation will be showing “The Armor of Light” on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Jacob Burns Film Center (364 Manville Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570).

“The Armor of Light” follows an Evangelical minister and the mother of a teenage shooting victim and asks whether it is possible to be both pro-gun and pro-life. It takes a courageous look at our fractured political culture and makes the bold assertion that it is possible for people of differing views and different political beliefs to evolve and find common ground.

After the screening, there will be a panel discussion with filmmaker Abigail Disney and Jennifer Barahona of the Newtown Sandy Hook Community Foundation. A reception will follow in the Jane Peck Gallery. Tickets cost $10 for Jacob Burns Film Center members and $15 for nonmembers.
