Judith Watson, CEO of Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center, and board member of Nonprofit Westchester (a client of Buzz Creators!) has been named one of Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Health Care Leaders.
Ms. Watson is responsible for the day-to-day management of the health center, a federally qualified community health facility with eight sites in Westchester County. She oversees health care services, budgeting, marketing, and fundraising. She is currently supervising a rebranding initiative as well as a renovation project at the organization’s main site in Mount Vernon. Ms. Watson, who has been at the forefront of Covid-19 vaccine accessibility efforts, established one of the state’s first walk-up testing facilities, which typically serve senior citizens and low-income individuals. On a daily basis, she brings together government, nonprofit and health care partners to address the social determinants of health affecting those served by the center.
