Team Buzz had the privilege of attending Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s 17th Annual Go Red Women’s Leadership Experience, hosted in partnership with the American Heart Association. The event brought together leaders, innovators, and changemakers for a morning centered on empowerment, resilience, and the importance of women’s health.

The program featured inspiring conversations with two remarkable trailblazers who are redefining what it means to lead in their respective fields. Ruth E. Carter, known for her groundbreaking work in film, shared insights on creativity, perseverance, and the power of storytelling through design. Alongside her, Dystany Spurlock brought a dynamic perspective from the world of motorsports, speaking to determination, fearlessness, and breaking barriers in a male dominated industry.

Throughout the morning, the conversations went far beyond professional success. Speakers emphasized the importance of prioritizing health, building strong support systems, and using one’s platform to inspire others. The Go Red initiative continues to shine a light on heart health awareness while fostering a community of women who are committed to lifting each other up.

What made the experience especially meaningful was the sense of connection in the room. Attendees were not only listening, but actively engaging in a shared mission to lead with purpose and make an impact in their communities. It was a powerful reminder that leadership is not just about achievement, but about influence, advocacy, and resilience.

We are grateful to have been part of such an energizing and inspiring event. Experiences like these reinforce the importance of community, conversation, and continued growth both personally and professionally.
