Hallie Parker is an intern at Buzz Creators, Inc., where she assists on a number of day to day client PR & marketing activities and research projects. She is a full-time student and rising sophomore at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, planning to major in Communication Studies, with a minor in Writing.
Hallie’s passion for and interest in communications and writing developed in her early childhood, when she would leisurely write original short stories to share with her family and friends.
In addition to her current role at Buzz Creators, Hallie has had a number of academic and real-world communication and writing experiences. She has done freelance writing for the Westmore News, a local newspaper based in Port Chester, New York, and was an editorial intern for Westchester Magazine in the summer of 2011. Hallie also contributes to her sorority’s alumni newsletter. She was also the Copy Editor of her high school yearbook for two consecutive years, a staff writer for the Features section of her high school newspaper, Focus, and a two-year digital columnist for the publication’s online site.
