This year, Buzz Creators took part in “9/11: Serve and Remember,” a community event on September 11th, organized by Volunteer NY. It’s a day where we remember those we lost and do good deeds in their memory. We joined in to pay our respects to the fallen and give back to our community, which holds a special place in our hearts.
We became part of 728 Local Volunteers and spent the day making six blankets for Project Linus, an organization that provides warm and comforting blankets to children in need. These cozy creations will soon find their way to children who could use a little extra comfort and warmth during challenging times.
As we remember the past, we look forward to continuing our tradition of making a positive impact in our community. Our team was filled with joy as we volunteered to honor their memory. We encourage everyone to find their own way to serve and remember because together, we can create a brighter future.
