Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill (CHHOP) recently hosted their annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Gazebo in Downtown Peekskill. Registration was free. All that was needed was for participants to bring a frozen turkey, ham, or chicken.
The community proudly came together in support of those in need by donating more than 300 turkeys, providing families in Peekskill with a healthy and nutritious holiday dinner. Donations benefitted CHHOP’s turkey giveaway and Fred’s Pantry.
