The Ty Louis Campbell Foundation (TLC) recently held a meet and greet with Peppa Pig on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at The Country Children’s Center “Farm” in Katonah, NY. The Ty Louis Campbell Foundation is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2012 by Cindy and Lou Campbell after their 5-year-old son, Ty, lost his battle to cancer.

This nonprofit organization is dedicated to funding innovative research and clinical trials specifically geared toward the treatment of aggressive childhood cancers. Peppa Pig, a Nick Jr. character who is a loveable, exuberant little piggy that enjoys playing games, dressing up, spending days outdoors and jumping in muddy puddles, hosted the TLC Muddy Puddles Project’s “Welly Walk” this year. The “Welly Walk” is a great national fundraising celebration of kids being kids, in honor of those that can’t. Peppa visited the grand prize winner, The Country Children’s Center, to lead a welly walk. Peppa also visited Ty Campbell’s preschool, Christ Church Nursery School in Pawling, NY, where Ty made new friends while in treatment for cancer.
