My dream vacation: Back to Italy. I've been there twice and the culture, the beauty of the country and the richness of the people there are amazing!
Favorite quote… A great attitude becomes a great day, which becomes a great month, which becomes a great year, which becomes a great life.
My favorite thing about working at Buzz Creators... Collaborating with a smart and energetic group of individuals and learning the intricacies of our clients' unique businesses.
If I had $1 million dollars to spend... I would put some of it toward my mortgage, some toward my children's college funds, and the kids and I would donate the rest to our local shelter (which is easier than the animal sanctuary they want me to build in our backyard).
My hobbies are... running, playing tennis, cooking, volunteering and now learning the drums!
communications and marketing professional, with more than 25 years specializing in corporate communications, Danielle originally wanted to work in television. A challenging market to break into, she then realized she could more effectively use her journalism background when she landed her first job in Investor Relations in New York City.
Over the years, Danielle has worked closely with clients of various sizes, from public companies to family-owned businesses, developing marketing plans to help them grow their business and create greater awareness for their brand. From crisis communications and CEO speeches, to employee communications and annual reports, Danielle has covered the gamut of disciplines for her clients.
Starting out in investor relations, Danielle worked for a Manhattan-based agency representing small-medium sized healthcare and pharmaceutical companies and then transitioned to a public relations firm working with more consumer product companies. She then worked closely with the Lauder family at The Estee Lauder Companies to generate awareness on Wall Street for the various brands of the beauty business.
At GE Card Services, Danielle worked in internal communications for the division of GE. Her role included developing compensation and benefits communications, promoting employee-idea programs that were adopted at their locations around the country, managing the company’s employee newsletter and internal website, as well as spearheading communications for the CEO. She then moved into a communications role at GE Equipment Services, developing thoughtful communications around the line of fleet cars and trailers the company owned.
While working for an agency, after GE, Danielle partnered with Mars, Inc. to spearhead the launch of their pet food line, Nutro, and developed communications around other product launches for their internal brands.
Danielle received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania and then went on to get her Masters of Science in Journalism from Boston University. She is a strong believer in volunteering, and together with her children, volunteers regularly at a local soup kitchen. On a summer day, you may find her and her three children holding a lemonade fundraiser for the Westchester SPCA. In her free time, Danielle enjoys hiking with her children and their new puppy, running and playing tennis, and more recently, learning how to play the drums. She couldn’t be more excited to be working with the Buzz team and their clients!
